£100 CHARGES WITHIN A 32 DAYS PERIOD FOR WHAT I HERE YOU SAY..?? Being 2p, 17p 8p and 21p over drawn for less than 6hours, HSBC aren’t bankers there thieving robbers, here to make a buck for them selves and screw any hard working citizen over who’s having a ruff time!
Got a £500 overdraft, been in and out of it for 3 years now. Then during christmas i went over the overdraft by £50. Didn’t notice this for 5days as i thought i had enough money in my account. Turns out they are now going to charge me £25 per day i was over. So thats £125 for £50.. i understand the whole charge situation but £25 per day is ridiculous. FUCK HSBC!!

They suck at answering emails.
I have an “digital account”, which is not associated to a physical branch. It’s all done through email, phone & online banking.
On average, it takes my banker 3 days to reply to an email.
Workers there don’t have personal email, only a generic one for everybody.
They never sign their emails, so I don’t know who answers my emails. Sometimes, it’s not my own banker, but a wanker who doesn’t know my business.

HSBC have twice now cancelled my credit card when I was using it because ’it has been stolen by fraudsters because there is unusual activity on the card’, no I was TRYING TO BUY SOMETHING.
Now they have taken to repeatedly sending me the wrong PIN number for my new credit card so it is now cancelled AGAIN. Right before I go on the holiday I was tyring to book the first time they cancelled it.

I had to get cash from a teller because I lost my card in Singapore, all was great, no problem just call UK so they can send the encashment form over, 10mins later walk out the bank with 500SGD, easy. Few weeks later I login online to pay some bills, turns out they charged me what looks to be 5000SGD!!!! to my bank account! Still unresolved, HSBC have cocked up and I cannot get through to anyone to solve the problem!!!
Make sure your read the fine print when signing up with this bank or they will screw you! Overdrafts (and their fees) that you did not ask for, permission to use your own money in other countries! Stuff this, I am moving to an ACTUAL local bank.

I went on vacation last week. I withdrew money from ONLY HSBC atms. I come home, check my online banking (after using that fucking stupid keyboard feature that pisses me off endlessly), only to find that they’ve hit me with NUMEROUS atm fees.
I call customer service (or as I like to call it, a massive pile of fecal matter thinly veiled as customer service), only for them to DENY that these ATMs were HSBC. Exfuckingscuseme? Why the hell would I withdraw money from a non-HSBC atm when I’m in a country FULL of HSBC atms. Furthermore, how dare they sit there calling me a liar.
They only agreed to reverse the charges once I threatened to march my ass over there right this minute to withdraw every penny I so negligently allow to be kept in their possession, close my fucking accounts, and take my money to another bank, or better yet, keep my money under my fucking mattress next to my rifle (because as we all know, their interest rates are laughable at best).
Loose Job. Become slightly overdrawn. Get Job. Get Paid. Pay Overdraft Charges. Have Money. HSBC invent new charges. Go Overdrawn Again. Starve?
